Its a Biggy

Greetings one and All.
I have a urge to float
Soooo, its time to introduce myself and absorb some of the info on here and hopefully one day be able to understand you all....

I'm currently looking at the SeaPro A360 & Excel 330, trying to make my mind up on size.
Although an odd mate or two may come out diving or fishing, Its mainly going to be me and my 3yr old daughter, so I need a boat and outboard I can manage on my own.
I've been offered a 9.9 Suzuki (2 stroke) from a mates Dad, so hopefully that's the day to day poddling about motor sorted.

My questions to the knowledgeable amongst you....
What should I be buying and why?
Any unusual difference between the two boats I've mentioned?

Thanks in advance
Martin

Its a Biggy

Looking like the excel 365 Volante is the one.
Terry, the chap at Excel has answered all my questions, knows the sib inside out, and with the comprehensive 5yr warranty.. Seems a no brainer to me.
I was very disappointed that Highams / Seapro only offer the sib in grey, we paint battleships in grey to blend in with the horizon, is that what we really want in a dingy floating on the sea?😳

I wouldn't mind a look once you gave it. I could cast an eye over the engine too. Although not heavy duty or really well known they seem to have a following and reasonable feedback. I like the look of their 4.6m Rib, it could stay on the garage and take a 75hp outboard, seems good value for what you get. The flip side is if you can nail down a used Rib from a better known commercial builder for similar money there would be a decision to make. Good to see you taking your first steps, only thing was I thought a SIB that size would be awfully small to dive from, I used to take divers out in a 15ft SIB with a 20 yam and it seemed crowded.

I'm now up and running, after much homework and help from friends I've purchased a 3.8 Honwave with a suzuki 9hp 2stroke. It's a 1978 outboard that's an absolute minter with hardly any use.
Honda launch wheels, new 12ltr tank, bravo pump also purchased.
