Introduction from Hampshire UK
Hi fellow RIB owners. Recently purchased a used 4m AvonSearider with 25hp 4stroke Yamaha.(which needed some updating and kitting out.) With the assistance of some good friends its now wired up with auxiliary for small chart plotter/fishfinder etc.Did its first launch last Sunday at Hamble,Southampton (sea trail before the warranty ran out) definitely a rethink on the public slipway i used....but was, other than that, a successful outing-albeit stupidly cold.
blipped it momentarily to 21.9knts. Just searching for extra jockey seating/stainless steel back frames to accommodate my 2 boys. May have to wait for the 1st of the boat jumbles in the spring. Got my RYA level2 & just completed a vhf radio license course on Friday. Anyway.. anyone who has any tips/advice that they want give,feel free,it'll be appreciated.
