Hi from new member

Afternoon all,
Brand new to the world of boating.
We just had a weekend at the Southampton boat show and purchased our first small inflatable. 3.6m long - air deck.
Not got an engine yet, need to save some more pennies!
And I'm sure there's loads of extra's to buy yet.
Looking forward to reading through the forum.
I read the 14 pages last night about carryover big emergency kit.
Excellent advice

Cheers
Ade

Cheers Jeff
That's good to hear. The reviews did seem really positive. And the company is pretty local to where we live so good for advice and accessories

Adey just noticed you've bought Chipko's Suzuki 20Efi. Well done that's a great match for your SIB. Chipko's reports on using his over the past 3yrs was a great incentive for me to buy mine new earlier this year.

It's turned out to have a great balance of power vs portability... they are so reliable to start and have a rock solid idle with the Efi system. Fuel economy has been good too giving me 20Nm extra range per tankful compared to my previous 15hp 2-stroke.

Thanks. I visited Ian last night and picked up some great tips as well as an engine! We inflated the boat this evening for the first time in the garden. It all seems really straight forward. Can't wait to get in the water.

Thanks

Ade

Ade,

Glad it's all looking good. When you get on the water a report and a few pics on here is always very welcome.
