Hi from Glasgow.

Oohing to buy a rib in September to accompany swimmers on Loch Lomond. Must have an engine that can work at slow speed and can seat about 4 plus equipment. Any suggestions as to type to get? Must be able to. Get swimmer in worse scenario unconscious if needed. Would welcome the advice Chris

Does it matter if they sit on the tubes?

Mm,mm if they can stand it for up to 12 hours. It would be softer I guess than a bench seat on a cruiser.

It's harder work staying upright though with no backrest. 12 hours might be a bit much.

What sort of price are you looking at?

Very true. I am working on a max budget of five grand. I know it win't get me the all singing all dancing cabin rib but got to look at all the options. I have time to decide which is good as I aim to take swimmers out next year. I can hire a boat if someone has a desperate desire this year. If you want to get a better idea of what I will be doing see swim4miles.com

I had a look at your website-if it's a for-profit operation you might have to have a commercially coded boat.

Probably a good idea to ask in the commercial section before deciding on a boat. They'll know more than I do.
