I don't think you will find anywhere without a long tow. Ferry Marine in Livingston and the RIB guys on the Clyde would be the obvious places to talk to.

I don't think there is anyone in Scotland who makes there own tubes and I wouldn't want tubes fitted that weren't fitted by the manufacturer
I may be wrong but if there was a warranty issue and a 3rd party fitted tubes it could be a nightmare
I think the closest manufacturer will be SIT or Dave Cowal on the forum north west ribs
If it were mine it put in the extra miles to take it to the manufacturer for fitting

Not sure why? No different to a dispute with a tube maker whether it is them or the fabric that is at fault - its simple: your contract (and consumer rights) are with whoever supplies you. Now, I would have some reticence if it wasn't something they were actively promoting but these guys: Rib Centre – Ferry Marine – Jetski / Boats / Inboards / Outboards are official agents for Tidel (Tilley Inflatables).

It's maybe just my cautious nature but if I wanted Tilley tubes fitted I think the best people to fit them would be Tilleys themselves

You could look at it the other way round... if there is a problem you will only have rtb warranty anyway. So you'll have to drive back to the Deep South, whereas if you use the local agent you only have to drive for 5 hrs!

If Tidel are happy with Ferrymarines work then I would be too.

Ferry Marine at Livingston is who I would recommend. They did a re-tube (Delta 6.5m)for my organisation for me about 5 years ago and was as good as original tubes. Still look like new. Fantastic clean workshop as well which is important for tube work.

RIBase
Given the costs involved with a retube, what's wrong with a road-trip and a few days city-break while the work is done? That, or look at selling on as a project and seek out a new boat.

I would recommend SIT in Preston, did an excellent job on our boat recently, We rented a cottage in Elgol four years ago from a lovely fisherman called Alistair, he had inherited a rib with very sad tubes, we recommended SIT, for a small fee he had the rib transported there by truck and had the boat retubed, from what I understand he was really pleased with the outcome.
