New guy on board, great vibe you mates have here.
New to forums but not the sea. first sib was a Zodiac GT Mark 1 with a 16hp Suzuki I took offshore 26 miles to a local island for a year. Later a Grand raidwith a Suzuki provided a little safer crossing.
I'm in the process of repairing and setting up a Avon Mark 1 450 CRRC with DIY fiberglass console, Aluminum floorboards, Radar, GPS and a few other bits.
Power is a Mercury 50hp 2 stroke on a reinforced transom.
Would love to see images of other members CRRC's.
Here are a couple images of uncompleted mock up.

just read the name of your boat Thumper, we had a rabbit called thumper it jumped around alot does that describe your boat? all the best to you and family, we take the p&$s a lot on here if you hadnt noticed

All the best guys, thanks....good fun. Thanks for the warm welcome guys. The young wee blond is now happy her country folk have given us permission to board. I'm looking forward to becoming a RibNet Supporter as to give back a wee bit to the community....Now back to the glue sniffing for me, but I hear a nice pint or two of Kilkenny flushs the toxins from the system.
I'll start a separate thread on the return of Thumper to civilian use.
