Greetings ark125,
I'm sure you'll find all your answers here, as for launching you'll need master ocean mariner certification for launching in some areas from what some say. Althogh safety equipment with some local knowledge and understanding of the tides and common sence in others, either way that's a nice size starter boat you've got there, plenty of fun to be had and easily transportable.
Happy SAFE boating.

Hi there from and ex-pat Yorhshireman now in the far north.

I've only been on here for around 8 months but found the warmth of welcome and advice invaluable.

So much so that I actually paid to become a RIBnet supporter... and as a fellow Yorkshireman, you must know it's good if I'll actually pay for something voluntarily :o)

Enjoy!

Best wishes and welcome

Steve

The Suzumars are looking promising...
