There is a sailing club near to the airport, seems to be in the middle of nowhere. Did some work from there last year with Trell from here.

Seem to recall it was rather tide restricted though! Nice facilities and friendly people.

Rusty Nail
1 Part Scotch Whisky
1 Part Drambuie
on the rocks

As the Caernarfon Crew are a bit flash, they make 'em with Glenfiddich, which is strictly forbidden by several of the 10 Commandments.

After the first leg of the Ireland Cruise, they will be getting Rusty Nail Bombs:
1 Part Irish Whiskey (Black Bush, high in Malt)
1 Part Irish Mist
on the rocks*

And if you really want to push the boat (rib) out so to speak a bottle of Ardbeg's famous Corryvreckan at £63 a go!! But as 9D says only for Redbay owners who are well flush.

Consider it done!! HP omitted!!

Oh by way of update peeps I visited Liverpool Sailing Club today and discovered this to be the only launch site Liverpool side of the Mersey!! A great club that is under-utilised and has lots of potential. Once you pay annual membership you can launch 24/7/365. Beats having to obtain a permit from Wirral Council to launch off New Brighton (which I did doh!!). A big thank you to the chap (can't remember his name from Scotland -sorry) for putting me onto this!!
