Hello, bought a RIB

Hello all,

My first post here ... been a silent lurker for some time. I just bought a new-to-me Alliance 440u with a Suzuki 55 hp outboard and trailer. It's dirty but holds air and runs fine ... For $3,000 I couldn't ask for more. Looking forward to cleaning it up and getting out on the water!

This is a great site and I look forward to taking advantage of the wealth of knowledge here!

It's been a few years but I've brought this boat back to life. It's got a brand new Yamaha F70LA now and I've had it up to 36 knots. Having a blast!! Can't wait to take the kids tubing!

Good looking RIB!

A couple Mr Clean Magic Erasers and some Clorox Cleaner + Bleach will do wonders at removing all of the oxidization, removing built up dirt, and killing off any mildew spores. Just make sure you wear work clothes.
