Hello

Just a quick hello, im 31 from the west midlands, looking for a family Rib to use in france, spain and in the UK (solent)

Will be towing the rib wherever i go as i will be keeping it stored locally in the midlands, so looking for something around the 6m range. Quite interested in the Medline 2 rib, seem's to be a nice size / layout for family days out. Have charted in the solent before and owned my own boat in spain (midlife crisis), now looking for a fun family boat thats not to serious to maintain as the boat was but just as capable and safe. (by serious i actually mean expensive)

I have a powerboat level 2/ ICC and will be doing some refresher skippered charter before taking the family in the solent.

think thats about it..im sure i will have plenty of questions etc as im looking hopefully this is the place to get the answers.

hopefully ill get out on the water before the summer in my own rib

Ok so after looking more into the medline range it's really not for us. so I've ended up buying a Avon 620 with a ya 115..now I'm looking for more information on where to buy jockey seats as im not keen on the bench type at the helm.

Help would be appreciated

Try these,
i believe they supply Avon and they are just up the road(depending where you are in the Midlands).

Thnaks guys I will look into both avenues, will these just bolt straight down to the existing deck of the 620 adventure, do many of you do this?

I want to keep the rear bench seat for the kids and will have it reupholstered, looking to have two jockey type seats up front and a screen, so this might mean changing the console as the adventure comes without one..is this a massive job should I leave the console alone?
