If the developments are finished in time this summer it was our intention to set off on a last hurrah on the big boat. Its killing me to sell it - but sensibly I should sell the boat if we go away for any length of time. At the moment it looks like September on the market. Another pic form the Nacho - think this was from TRIMIX?

The biggest boast as USP Chris is that it has an Expresso machine on board - it can produce a Cappucino!!

I have a customers boat in Ramsgate looks identical to yours (8.5 / same cabin) with a diesel, quite rare I believe. Will post some pics.

I also saw a protector today a protector today with a smaller console & bimmi setup, haven't seen that before, is it an older design? Sorry didn't snap a photo :-((

PS your rig looks FUN !!

Was it a Volvo inboard, I know that one, there were a few console ones about, I think they were slightly older as one in particular was sporting a two stroke engine

There was a number of different shapes, sizes and builds that arrived in Portland pre Olympics if I remember correctly.

We used a few of them during the Academy racing series - great fun to be on board.

The 8.5 like mine had two options - with a cabin or just a console and bimini. This console range has been discontinued (other than special order) but you can still get a cabin like mine - the hull base has been extended to 9m. The new range are superb - but above 10m you are drifting too far from the rib concept in my opinion. The 9m cabin with 2x 250 is a great boat and the interior is improved with linings to prevent condensation, improved heads facilities and portholes in the sides. The portholes makes the cabin lighter with better airflow if staying on board. All this is great - but to be honest I would not want to drift too far from the more rugged open concept. The new boats are hugely expensive and drifting towards a concept closer to Windy / Sunseeker.

Yup, that's the one, from your patch, by total coincidence I remember once bumping into the last owner in cowes and chatting about cabin ribs; then a few years on the boat turned up in Ramsgate!

Here she is. Still coded.

Might be using her myself this year as Magellan our 9m RIBTec cabin is staying down your way for a bit.

I don't do much charter work but the odd thing comes along.
