Welcome - I had dinner in Paceville with Christian Ripard only last week - very windy and not so sunny then! Love your island and wish I had a rib there - I will be visiting soon on my big Indaba next year.

Thanks Gents

Indaba - yes Christian is one of the team at local agents. Great guys and good to have them around. Like your bike...got me a CBR1000 all of my own.

Bingosucks - Boat is in a boat house in Qawra so that is Nort-ish closer to other islands. Sliema??? - that concrete jungle....

My old bike is one of my great failures in life. It is (was) a Norton F1 Sport, rotary engine, one of only 4 ever built. Norton built a few more road bikes but this was a JPS road racing copy of the one Ron Haslam, Steve Spray and Trevor Nation were winning on in Superbikes and TT. I bought it at the Alley Palley show for not a great deal of money - I p/ exchanged it for the first ever 916 Ducati to arrive in the UK. I saw online that it sold to a collector recently for - wait for it - $50,000. Its not so much the money - it was the fact I let a unique classic slip through my hands without thinking.

(At this point, even after years, there follows teeth gnashing, head banging tears etc)
