A good bud on Waiheke Island has a Sea Legs and he launches off his front yard on Onetangi Beach.
He got the bends when working as profession cray diver in the Chatams and lost feeling in left leg, praallesis ?
I don't know but if he looses a swim fin he doesn't know it.
So he's got a large collection of single fins.
He got a work disability payout and put all into SeaLegs. Smart move.
He now helps develop accessories, always trying out splash board and bait tanks etc.
Does a morning fish, grabs crays, returns , feeds himself and the cat snapper after us, and his eels with the fish guts…
SeaLegs are too much dough in my books, but the trendies here gotta hav um.
Your nobody with out a sea Legs in the Waiheke Island Christmas parade!

Ya, so ABOUT ME. harrump!
First saw an inflatable at Daytona Beach in the late 70s.
Grey Zodiac 4.2 ridgid w 50 ish hp.
Surf rescue food told me it was 20 years old and I was amazed.
Next saw on another Zodiac Classic-wooden floor suspended on slings in an open sided boat port in the Okanogan in BC Canada at sunset, glistening and beconing.
Got home to Toronto saw an unused and unwanted prize in the newspaper and half price later, I was the proud owner of a new 1979 red 3.8 Zodiac Futura.

More exciting adventure later, swim time.

I am pleased you posted that - I thought my earlier consumption of Guinness at the Boat Show was making me hallucinate

Hi all,
Im going to build a centre console jockey seat combo out of 1.2x2.4 12mm (4'x8' half inch) ply.
I got 2 pot marine grade grey paint.
The boat is at the start of the thread and in the previous post in this thread.
Anybody done anything like this?
My Yamaha dealer is shipping me the steering assembly and throttle controls.
I plan on having the fuel tote tank under the jockey seat w the rear panel open for sea slosh.
A webing belt to lock the tank in.
Storage under the seat.
No elec trim or tilt.
Anybody got any suggestions or links to cool ideas about this?
off topic.
Heres our swim raft which I can use a mooring.
Happy New Year etc.

So I paid for the Yamaha approved steering wheel and throttle control from the Yami dealer and should receive it by courier within 24 hours.
