Greetings from Brisbane - First RIB - Airib 6.5

Have just bought my first RIB for diving and fun, it's an AIRIB 6.5 with a 250HP Yamaha four stroke on the back.

Hoping to get some good advice and maybe even find some other locals for missions across Moreton.

Has anyone heard much about these aluminium hulled ribs?

Bruce

Hi Bruce
Been searching on here about AIRIBs. I recently bought an ex U.Q 5.8xl, but can’t find much info on them. I know he shut down a long time ago,but thought there might be some more info around!
Do you still have yours?
I’m often out on the Bay . Also have a 7M ex US Navy RIB.
Should head out for a run sometime! I’m a bit of a RIB nut so always keen to check out new ones .
Cheers Todd

Still have Meanie, kids mean I don't get out much these days. You can get tubes and other things made by Naiad in N Z, they have all of the plans and info to make them on spec. I had the latest set of tubes made there and they're outstanding. They just need your hull number and a couple of check measurements and they're good to go. Aluminum work I get done by the guys at Sea Adex, they're truly sensational but might be too busy these days...

Keen for a rib mission some time.
