I've just sold my little Fletcher Arrowflite that Ive messed about with for a few years and am in the process of looking to buy a decent used RIB.
I passed my RYA PB 2 and safety boat operator a few years back and having just retired from the fire service after 30+ years and as the bitter half doesnt want me idle, so have just passed my RYA PBI course.
Have to say its a mine field out there, looking at boat and engine combinations, seating arrangements, boat construction, tube condition etc etc etc
Will always accept advice and always willing to learn
so come on, where in lancashire are you, and where do you go boating?
I'm from Chorley and we have a static at Trearddor Bay so that's where we are going out from.
Glad to report that I've just bought a 6m Gemini with a 130 Honda both 2002. The RIB needs a bit of tlc but is starting to look great. The engine is quiet as a mouse and runs luvly. The tell tail is running but not as good as my old Merc. Is this usual for a Honda?
