Just a little Larson 226 bowrider with the Volvo 5.7V8 and SX leg...It is the one with the U-Shape seating at the back and a lunch (read drinks for everybody except me) table...Complete rig is about 2.2Tonne so I'll have fun getting it over the Alps :-)

Since one year ago, the level of water at the Garda lake got higher because of abundance of rain. Moreover, local administrations for water regulations of Mincio River, decided to use in a clever way the water, saving a bigger quantity of it in winter, in order to irrigate the ground on summer, without any damage for the ecosystem .

Nah the Moniga slipway is fairly shallow and not enough space to use lines as an extension as they don't corner that well :-)

Trailer storage

Does anyone know a place for trailer storage at lake Garda? Ideally to the west or south of the lake, but beggers can't be choosers so I be happy with anywhere!

I got myself in a pickle. I have guaranteed a buoy and trailer storage bar two days of my holiday. I could book a marina berth for the whole holiday but they can't store the trailer and my campground doesn't have the storage either.

Please help with ideas.

ZAR Formenti

Hi,
Want to spend holiday in Lake Garda with my new ZAR Formenti 65 Suite with Honda225 on trailer. Look for advice from local Rib guy.
Specific questions:
- what is best place to go with boat? not too bussy, good place with enough bouys
- is there a hotel/camping with marina on site?
Look forward to your reaction!
Regards, Roeland

It all depends when you want to go. If you are looking for this highseason forget it. It is so full. Nearly all lakeside campings have buoys that they can officially rent out and most have their own slipway as well.
I prefer the west as my base, but again that is personal.

Check with selectcamp.nl which is with who we booked this year. Another good source is as you are from holland is gardameerforum.nl

hope that helps.
