The boat is constructed from Strongan 1200, which is a proprietary blend/weave of PVC.

I found this Brochure about my 2008 Zodiac Yachtline RIB to identify the tube materials. Interesting and useful. It discusses the material used as Stronan, a type of PVC. I'll still do a material test with acetone and try to look at the inside color to verify.

Does any one have a favorite patch material brand or techniques? I have a leak under an existing patch and assume i need to really clean the old adhesive off pretty well.

Strongan is a fancy name for PVC. Need to remove the old patch, clean well the surface with MEK and glue a new one in with same fabric if available along 2 part PVC glue..
