Leaky old, and wrong sized keal tube... it will only get you trouble if you dont give is a good service...

The one in our zodiac it was leaky, even after we had it out and pacthed up as good as possible... we endet up emptying two cans of tire repair stuff in to it, that has fixed it.

if you get it air tight, im sjure you can cut some of it off the, glue it with the correckt two componant contackt glue and it would work..

Speak to local Zodiac dealer. Should be possible to purchase part and glue in place. With all things Zodiac - it probably won't be cheap, but it's an integral part of the boat and is worth it in my opinion.

While the length may be the same, I believe that's the only similarity. I've checked them both out thoroughly and used to own a Zodiac MK IIC. They are different. The keel is extremely important in that it shapes the hull and solidifies the entire boat. I would be inclined to agree with spartacus: Spend the dough and get the proper Zodiac part if you want to get the best out of the boat.

Does anyone have any views on the Zodiac model 1119 from 1995 ?

Also, I am trying to determine if it has an inflatable keel or a keel tube - if the latter, how does this differ from a modern inflatable keel design?
