Zodiac 470
Hello Ribnet!
I am hopefully about to purchase a zodiac 470, it's not the army version, it has red colouring and none of the handles etc usually associated with these boats, it is in very good condition as it has been sat in Cardiff in an exhibit for years.
The transom is not straight, it dips down twice and is 15 inches to the bottom of the transom, it is 19 inches to the bottom of the hijackers as it has futura style tubes.
My question to you is what shaft size engine does it take?
It comes with a 50hp Tohatsu long shaft (presumably 20 inches) TDLI, I feel it should be short shaft.
