Engine all checked out as A ok - i knew I'd stuggle to get it 100% right so a small favour with the local Merc dealer and set for a run 'maybe' tomorrow , or next Sunday .

Many thanks to Peter (AKA Boats& outboardsforsale on here)- for getting it to me - its a lovely bit of kit!

Does anyone have any manuals etc for the boat or late 04 merc 25 they would be good enough to share with me please.

Pete

Try this site for your 25. This is the front cover, which details all the sections of the workshop manual. To get to the other sections replace the word cover in the link below with 1a, 1b etc as detailed on the cover page.

Attached is the Aerotec owners manual volume 2. Not the best copy but you should be able to work it out. Volume 1 is too large to attach to the site so PM me if you want it.

1st trip out

After too long a delay I managed to get out on it today , met with Matt H who seemed determined to get out of the water as much as possible

We were trying to stay in the water and with 3 up and a load of junk in the boat scared ourselves to start with but hit 18 knots after some practice and confidence and a beer

The bung fixings came out of the transom, but some PTFE tape and a rubber ' persuader' and all was fine.

A bit/lot of floor bending going on , but I put that down to not enough pressure , once on the plane all was fine.

I'm sure Matt got a few pics and as soon as I get his from my 'crew' I'll post them . Oh he has done it !!!

Great boat ... love it

So Matt, why did I have to lend you a life jacket?? Did one forget to tell all .....

Anyway, Matt met up with us on one of our trips out today and whilst I could not give him all my attention, I did manage to grab one picture of his antics! It has been cropped as he was so far away

Hmmmm,
Really appreciate the Jacket. with all the excitement, I pulled it out of the locker and it caught the manual arm and went off.
What a awesome day tho.
