i'v run alu' and foam, it was vary lite, fast but weak, folded up some of them 1/2" 9ply baltic berch works best as litest strongest, i run a 3/4" 5 ply
tail board to hold the high power.

the fit of the floor in your SIB is important, it will have a direct affect on the way the hull handels
