V small hole in V 11.2PSI floor

Planning to fix this, can I do it with Stormsure, repair glue and patches? It's near the inflation hole. Not on the seal just to the right of the seal. V small made by a stone I expect.

Broken floor strap on aerotec 380 inflatable floor

The strap has ripped in two, can I just buy a new one and glue it on? Floor is fine just wear and tear.

Just spent an hour reading this thread for the first time.

Absolutely great to see the determination Firstrib has and the progress they've made on getting out on the water. It certainly seems they have a great first-hand experience of what powerboat ownership is like when you're on a budget and don't know what you're doing. I have been in the same 'boat' !

Looks like you've tried some pretty ambitious voyages - have you taken any extra training since your PB2?

Hi Tehguy,

Honoured you would spend an hour reading this thread. It has been such a wonderful adventure.

I haven't taken any extra training since Powerboat II but I have done VHF and CEVNI online.

I too have just read this whole thread and am super impressed with your determination and desire to learn. When I first read that you wanted to put a RIB on top of a Ka I thought this won't end well, but you persevered, got out on the water, and have had some great adventures. Well done mate.

Yes I totally agree with FZ above, great determination to overcome. Particularly when the transom fell off half way from the Isle of Wight!
