Where to launch in Lymington.

Just preparing for the summer, I launch the 380 from the boot and have launch wheels.

Any ideas on a good place to launch?

There is another slipway at the town quay, however apparently it is for emergency only. So the one that Nathan suggested is the one to use.

This website is always good to get slipway information.

Is that the one the RNLI use to launch, by the yacht club?
If so is that really public? Would have thought it would be reserved for RNLI use only.

Hope not, I have an annual pass for it, and usually launch from there

Thanks Ian, do you launch a SIB from there? You don't by any chance know how much it is to launch do you?

I don't launch a SIB from there, just the 6.5m. I have seen SIBs launched from there tho. I do not know the single launch costs; there does not seem to be any thing on the web either. My annual pass was £140 last year. At a guess the single launch price will be in the range £10 - £15, but do not hold me to it!
I cannot think of any suitable beach launching sites in the area, the only alternative that springs to mind is Keyhaven, there is a slip opposite the yacht club.

I think it was £15 for a 585 last year and they stung me for extra as the engine was over 100hp. Parking was even more as well.

My advice launch and park up the road.

Just read your first post, if you can afford to wait I'll try to remember to have a look at the launch costs next time I am there.
