Where to launch,beach, harbour, slipway?

Where is the best place to launch a SIB,Beach ,Harbour,Slipway,I know beach launching is free but parking can be a long way away, and lots to carry,Harbours you can park fairly close but expensive, most slipways i am told are private.Living 80 miles from the sea its hard to know where to launch, any where in wales will do.

Living right on the coast I have so many options, there are loads of public slipways near me and some with free parking too. My boat is stored right by a slipway in fact and we just walk it the 100 yards along the road with transom wheels and straight into the water

Thanks for your reply, you are in the ideal spot there,i used to have an uncle in St Budeaux i think it was and one in Saltash.
I am going to have to find a slipway near a car park or park on the beach where possible,What size transom wheels do you use,and hard or blow up.would make life a lot easier put everything in it and walk it down,do you fit the outboard on first?
