Waveco / Wetline question

Hello Folks. I am just about to buy a package for messing about on fishing lakes and have been told that the wetline 260 eco and waveco 260t (slatted floor) are the same boat and spec. Can anyone confirm this please before I send my money?

The deal is a waveco 260t plus minn kota endura 34 and Bravo Superturbo BST 12 HP for £500 delivered. It all has to be new as it is a present from work and for my application a 2.6m and electric will be more than adequate. (I know these boats are at the budget end etc and I can get a better deal used but that is not an option)

Thanks in advance

Can't comment on the difference but on Saturday I fetched a wet line 265 airdeck my mate bought of someone on here and I thought it was really good quality for the money.
Does it need an air pump though as we inflated in less than 10 mins going steady with the supplied foot pump.
Or are you thinking of the next boat already
Pete

Hmmm maybe the fancy pump is overkill then. It's a long story but I am getting £500 from work for a 10 year service present and I thought a 12v pump would make inflating and deflating easier as I will be boating from my estate car. Or, like you say, am I better putting that £110 on some other equipment? Help!

I do have a jacket but it's a chunky sundridge cheap one. Was thinking about a nice slimline one to be fair so you may have swayed me there

I've owned Waveline and Wetline tenders in the 2.3m size and whilst cheap they have been fine for my needs. If you don't protect them from UV the PVC will eventually break down, so store it somewhere dark when out of use. A good foot pump is probably almost as quick as the Bravo at inflating them and I would recommend investing in a better quality footpump than the type they come with. The supplied pump is usually a small volume with small diameter hose which makes life harder than it needs to be.
Enjoy it.

A CTEK charger then. That motor will suck them dry so if you want them to last get a decent charger.

The Bravo is excellent but maybe overkill as said.

Perhaps an anchor and line if you are going on the river.

I went for the waveco slatted in the end and it is now proudly sat in my living room fully erect

Lovely little boat and astonishing quality for the money i cant wait to get her out.

I also decided to but the bravo digital despite being warned not to and guess what? It's now for sale. Slightly overkill for a boat of that size. Grab yourself a bargain in the bits and pieces section

Not sure why you think the bravo is overkill. Did you inflate it manually before selling it?

I inflated mine (albeit a 3.3m) once with a stirrup pump. Then I bought a bravo.
