Upgrade

Hi all
I'm looking to upgrade my current set up, quicksilver 3.4 air floor with 15 HP Mariner ( look out on Ebay ) for a Honwave or similar and 20 or 25 HP motor.
I'd love to keep the boat I have and upgrade motor but transom says max 15hP.
My question is if I buy the items separately are all SIB motors short shaft or do some boats need long shaft ?

I'd say 90% plus are short shaft with the exception... for example... of a 4.2m Aerotec and some Zodiac Futuras.
