Went up the lakes today heard reports on the radio that few people had fell off a ledge up Helvellyn yesterday don't know how serious the incident was.

Right guy's this is the situation at the "be quiet site"... £40 for the 2 nights for tents "the last site was £10 per night" or £80 for the 2 nights for pods, pods sleep 2 adults which includes heating. I think that it would be better to ditch the tents and share pods between us it works out the same price with 2 sharing. Also its somewhere for us to sit in and keep warm while having a

Also being as we are not allowed fires or wood burners then if we do use our tents what do we do while we are waiting for the pub to open... sit outside our little tents freezing our bollicks off and if the site is "quiet" will they open the pub for just 4 or 5 of us anyway.

I will phone the tourist information site up tomorrow and see if there is anywhere else available and also Mick is going to contact one of his 4x4 friends about a wild camping site they use with the landowners permission, who lets them use their wood burners.
