Shackles are the ones with the bat through, carabiner has the eye in.
I've bought them off uk yacht rigging supplies on ebay, does a few boat bits.

hi, the bridle thing has them carabiners at the ends already and the eyelets are small and lower down as so i cannot fit them through or hook them on, i thought there might be something you buy to link it through somehow ...

If the eyelets are that small I'd be a bit wary of what load they can take.
An alternative would be fit some rope and tie/splice it off through the eyelets and then clip the carabiners through that.

Fruitbat,

Did you ever get a chance to try out the ringo? I'm figuring if you can tow one with 3.10 and 9.9hp, I should be ok with my rig. So how'd it go???
