Zodiac / Bombard Fish & Hunt were only PVC.

FR-XDC = Welded air seams, welded transom, glued floor (Strongan material)
CN-XDC = Glued everything (Mehler Valmex material)

Happy if it can be fixed

Not so worried about material all I can add is the fabric is textured and a Matt finish. All the ones I have seen online are pvc smooth and have a vinyl finish. Will post pictures soon.

Jon all I can say is upside down tope under an inflatable of any type is bad news

Tope was the baddy in this

Hi Maximus,
Afraid to disagree the tope indeed was the culprit, probably shook it's head as I was cutting the leader as close to the fish as possible. It was a nice size tope not that I have huge experience with them but about 50lbs which is not a small fish not a big one but big enough.

Bloody vicious those Tope!
Was out fishing on Sunday and this one caught a sniff of my cheese and onion crisps - bloody tried to snatch the packet right out my hand.
Luckily I had an old pair of the wife's knickers for it chew on.

Just think you were very unlucky, as mentioned earlier we get many sharks around the boat even great whites. My daughter has just picked up sponsorship from a diving and spearfishing company and a new suit has just arrived so after school we will be out among the sharks at the seal colony.

ok not sure they do a spear big enough for those fish you have, have caught a 900lbs+ tiger off kenya but at least boat was bigger than fish that time. Now I am sure rubber boat and great whites cannot be good combination. But best of luck to your daughter and you stay safe.

The fabric is indeed PVC, thanks for all that found the answer, but is textured so unlike the newest models and is matt finish. Anyway getting patched professionally I would have tried but living in Wales trying to manage humidity to get best out of glues not the best. Thanks for all the help and pictures, you have to look out for those Tope they can be nasty, well one of them was nasty.
