Top sib locations. Down south

Firstly would I be mad trying to get on the boat in November?

Secondly thinking a trip down south would be nice. Maybe across to isle of wight?

Were do people recommend. I could hire a static or log cabin something along those lines.

Not necessarily. It depends on the weather and sea state. I'd be happy to get out on the water on a fine still day, if the sea was calm.

I found that launching from the main slip at Lymington was very pleasant when we had a weekend down there in May. We were down at Mudeford Quay the other weekend and it was fantastic. Never been there before but are definitely going to go back - not sure what it would be like that late in the year though.

sometimes in the winter months you can have fantastic calm sunny days on the water. Poole would be a good idea for you, lots to do in the sheltered harbour plus oustide the harbour, and an easy drive to lymington if you fancy nipping across to isle of wight.

RIBase
Any of the Estuaries work great in the winter if there is little wind.

Poole or Lymington are great, Plymouth Sound is superb as you can go up river as well as out to sea, same with Dartmouth. Falmouth gives plenty of up or down options too.
