Time Across Poole Harbour?

Hi,
I've just bought a Quicksilver 340 Air deck and a Tohatsu 6hp 4 stroke. Aprox how long would it take to go from Baiter Park or Branksea to the beaches at the harbour mouth? I'm hoping I should just about be able to get the boat planing with 2 up. What if I had a full managery of 2 adults, 3 kids and a packed lunch? Not sure how fast the thing will be able to go but I think I've seen 12 knots planing and much less if chugging.

thanks!!

I think there's a speed limit in the harbour during the summer, but someone will be along to tell you

Whats the rush ? enjoy the trip but watch out from the swell of the ferries.
I have a 290 Wetline with a 9.8 Tohastu so it will get on the plane quite easy but it is often choppy out in the middle so I slow down.
Watch out as the reach Brownsea as it can get very shallow, I have the mrks on my prop as evidence.
