Thought I'd post an update, however small. I've been waiting for steel to arrive for the trailer since before Christmas so I've been a bit stuck for things to do.
I did knock out a pair of aluminium mudguards though:

Can you bring both boats to Poole and we can break the speed limits in the harbour on the basis they both look exactly like the SBS...
Maybe we can get stuff chucked out of a Herc to finish the look ?
So good to see stuff put together properly with thought and care.
LOVE IT - I'm so jealous !!.... One day I'll have the space/time/ money to get bigger boats and more toys again!!!! ( got one of three at the mo ..) .
Am going to a trip to your neck of the woods in the summer ( on the Condor  so I'll come looking )

This definitely would be fun...just so long as it's not mine! I've often wondered whether mine got "put through her paces"  The hours I've spent scouring the net for pics/video of this, it's out there I've been told but it's eluded me

It is fun but you've got to really want it and you can't have anything else I've found! Sold my house to pay for the boat, been single ever since...can be a bit all consuming but I'm enjoying it!

Trailer came back from the galvanisers last week, mostly now bolted together, next job is cover the iroko bunks with carpet and get them bolted on.

Carpet is also so passe. I could do you some nice ceramic tiles left over from my shower room. Should prove to be nice and slippery when wet too.
