small leak from patch

Hi all
small question found a small leak coming from a patch how hard is it to remove the old patch and clean glue or should i try and place another alongside of it many thanks , just a bit worried what i might find underneath

Remove with a heatgun and replace it. Heat it completely 2 or 3 times before you try to pull it off, so the heat has time to radiate through the whole patch.
