If you want go go a bit further st abbs campsite at coldingham pubs in village good slipway in st abbs harbour (beautiful ) sail north around st abbs head stunning high cliffs the underwater scenery as good as anywhere if you have a go pro stick it in at the side of the island dotted around the harbour. Eyemouth not far away fresh fish shellfish, best fish and chips I've had , steam down from st abbs to the hurcars a reef just off shore another nice place.

Or Whitby nearer loads of camp sites around gets busy in the town but has a good slipway council run into the river if it's too rough you can still do a bit in the river to pass an hour if you fish and it's good weather stream down to robinhoods bay to the point where the bay starts there's a wreck of a trawler high and dry not much left now pikey DAve said but half a mile out from that point is a 20 m shelf full of cod fish on the rising tide with mackerel for your tea, high cliffs again both ways out of the harbour after sands end going north strait away going south beware of the reef going south.

Cheers
