Sibbing in The South?

Hello All

The wife and I have managed to secure the 2 and 3rd weeks of September off work and are thinking about heading south to England with our honwave 3m Alu and tohatsu 9.8 4s.

We live near Aberdeen and have a fair bit experience of west coast lochs and of the Lake District.

Any recommendations?

Are there any sib friendly inland bodies of fresh water south of the Lake District?

Obviously there are canals and rivers which we can fall back on, but would prefer some WOT days if possible.

Any advice appreciated.

Go to salcombe and hope cove ..great fun in a sib , easy launching and mooring and lots of holiday lets to choose from

Agree - pubs at high tide to visit, beaches, fishing depends what you want can also leave it afloat

Great thanks for the advice. Going to try some canals around Cambridge and then head down to the south west.
