sib totally deflated with one valve open

out on 2.6m seago for first time in estuary. i noticed when i undid one of the two valves that both tubes totally deflate. i had a worrying night of sleep last night thinking bout consequences of a puncture. i was hoping to use it for fishing a mile offshore calm conditions only. but i think its to dangerous if i get a puncture. what are your thoughts?

That's not good, and yes, a disaster if you have a puncture on the water. Most boats that size have three tube sections with a valve each. If it TOTALLY deflated the internal baffles have been blown out. At that size and value, there's probably not much that can be done...
