SIB repair.

Hi all
I would appreciate a little advice on the following.
Have a slow leak in the air floor of my PVC excel , Just purchased the proper kit to attempt the repair myself , and have a few questions.
What solvents are suitable for cleaning area for patching I understand acetone is one , but would alcohol or white spirit do the job either ?
Thanks

Evenin' Tuskar,

You need MEK, and you need it badly. Any RIB repair outfit or liferaft repair shop will have some. Don't d1ck about with anything less - you'll regret it. I sort my rig with a supply from the lads in Killybegs but they won't be able to ship the stuff - it's nasty!

DO NOT let MEK near good seams on your SIB - the glue will give up the ghost!
