SIB club special ?

A little drive along the coast today for the latest SIB purchase ..... only a select few have 2 380s....especially when one is grey

Had an odd aluminium floor in it ( actually quite well done) , but that's going ( if you want it PM me) .

Had some OK home made SS swing up launching wheel mounts

And a Garmin etrex..( don't think I'll get it fired up )

Air floor seems to hold air OK ,some TLC needed on the boat overall as it was fished from ( bloody fish slime..what sort or ribnobber fishes !!! oh hang on... ..and left inflated in a garden so some general mud/ slime to clean off ( FPS tomorrow )

Tomorrow I'll know for sure about it holding air..but anything is fixable ...

for some reason RIBnet isn't resizing my pics for me ..except the garmin...hmmm

If anyone wants to give me a 15 2 stroke ...I can look after it for a while ..settle for 10 ?

Don't FPS the GPS, spray some corrosion block spray into it if it doesn't have batteries in, then leave it a few hours and try powering it up. The stuff sometimes works wonders on electronics.

Haha. ..If you could see it. ... you'd see no amount of spray will help it. .. It was once water proof. .Now I can hear the water inside it and can't get it out. I can't even turn the nob on the back to get the batteries out. I think it was submerged for a good year or two.

Found some time to spend on this tonight . I feel it is going to keep me amused for at least a few weeks

The boat itself seems to hold air apart form one small pin hole on the underside of one tube, it does however have some existing repairs which work , but don't look great ( and one in red in the underside of a grey tube ) . I feel just minor TLC needed on the boat really. A quick FPS and it comes up fine ( but I've run out)

The floor....is another storey... I can see me having to search for the thread on Nashers revenge repairs and having to get some grey PVC and glue . Similar to Nashers 380 the floor needs a couple of patches...tricky, but with patience and prep all should be OK . Looks like an 'attempt' has been made by simply pouring glue over the holes ...so some cleaning up to on that !

So need to get Acetone, PVC material and glue and some time in dry . warm weather and all 'should' be fine. BUt when I get fed up with it I'll be open to offers ....
