Seam Repair

I have a Valliant 4.9Mtr rib which is made out of PVC. age 1996 but in really good condition, last week the sun popped a seam about 6 inches long , could anyone advice me on how to repair it ,I have successfully in the past repaired PVC boats but never tackled a seam before I have the right adhesive's and cleaners, its how to repair it I am after.
Thankyou
Derrick

I was always told to leave seams to the experts, I have my Valiants seams done locally and it didn't cost too much.
