thought most SIB's would have a 10 litre tank! so 15 , hopefully not 4 a litre before the trip lol

this all sounds very exciting, but I'm concious of my lack of experience.
my crew is myself and my 15 year old son, we have both done the powerboat 2 course last year, i have done the radio course and an outdoor first aid course.
My experience on the sea is limited to short fishing and snorkelling trips.

I always carry a waterproof entel hand held radio,flares, tools, spare fuel/2 stroke,nav lights etc

I don't think I am up to a "round the isle of white trip", but would be interested in going over to the iow as part of the group, and spending some time in Yarmouth, and returning with a group.

I totally understand if this is not possible.

If they are doing round the island they will need more than a typical 12L tank. So I'd assume most people will be using 25 or 30 L tanks, which at current prices is not far off 40 quid.

I was just being a mean...my rib tanks are only 20litres UK , but I make up with quantity !

Who are the local independents down there?
