i see, i did away with all the bunk supports and cross members and put 4 clamps and uprights in on the strait part of the frame each side of the wheels my boat is a lot wider than the original bunk positions so had no choice really.

Put new reflective strips on all over the boat. Also put the old number on her.

Reflective strips were hard to take off!! Heat and a careful hand with razor blade. Cutting the old glue instead of pealing. Then a light wet and dry paper and new honey comb reflective strips held on with Hypalon glue.

This is a great thread. I just happened across it while googling RNLI dispersal. These Y classes look like pretty heavy pieces of kit, what I was interested in was a religiously maintained 2 stroke mariner. Does anyone know if they sell these off when they have got to a certain age?!
