Hi Whisper - I'll check out the other pics I've got of those two as I was in negotiatons to buy one of those from him in July 2011 and he sent me some info, the seller had them both on eBay but he was asking way over the odds at the time as he got them direct from RNLI disposals. I think at the time Mart on here PM'd me some history but I'll check.

Can you post any current pics of yours? Is the transom cut down or straight across?

[edit] - yep, 132 was the top one and 137 was the bottom one (transom not cut down).

D class is all done now. Just need to get a few other bits together first, compass,anchor, vhf etc. will put some pics up when its on the water

Saw this at the boat ramp on the shores of Botany Bay Australia today.

The owner said it is really heavy and he got it cheap because the previous owner who imported it from the UK decided it wasn't practical to keep it on the roof of his campervan driving around Australia.

Not sure if it is the same type of boats we are talking about here.

where was the photo's taken of the two y class's stacked up? there's an orange d class in the back ground and I'am looking for one
