RNLI C Class

They were introduced as a short term plan for stations needing night time usage & a bit more operating range & capability than the standard D class whilst Atlantic 21 s were getting introduced , speed was never a big issue was more of second engine if the other failed .

C class boat & thats the local lifeboat fundraising ladies guild & not the crew by the way : )
Based around the Zodiac grand raid , rnli inshore lifeboat centre cowes then re modified to rnli standards & equipment .

The 2 round covers each side of the rear sponsons are the covers for the spare props .
Gear lever extension rods can be seen on the side of the 40 hp engines
