yeah i think the length will handle the chop a bit better at slow speeds, the 285 was wet even at displacement speed in anything over 1foot.

i did consider a 310 rib temporarily while we save money for a proper rib. but dont know if a 310 rib would be any better than the 285 hard floor sib.

definitely. its only ever 2 of us, but thats not much room in a 310
