Adam,

You can see on the 1st main board the two lugs or tongues that face upwards. On the bow board there is one lug in the middle and facing down in the image so you don't see it (though you can just make out the two screw heads where it is held on).

Stupidly I can't 100% remember if the bow board lug should face up or down but it's obvious when you go to fit. I think it probably faces up as otherwise it would interfere with the inflatable keel.

Hope you manage to get out on Friday... you might need the all weather gear from the forecast.

David

David, are your boards solid ply or do they have a foam core?

Adam,

Don't get here much these days so only just noticed your question. My floor is ply (about 10mm thickness) with no foam core.

1971 Zodiac MK1 with Archimedes Penta 12hp Outborder for sale

Hey guys,

i own a 1971 Zodiac MK1, which i is in great condition. i inherited it from my aunt and had a lot of fun with it at some lakes in italy.

Problem is, we live in Wolfsburg, Germany far away from a nice lake or river, so i use it too seldom. I would like to sell it to a real Zodiac Fan, who takes good care of it and has better use for it.

I also inherited a 12hp outborder from Archimedes-Penta, which also runs fine, the waterpump is not clogged and working well.

I found this thread via google and do not know, if this is the right place to offer this old RIB?

Here are some pics of the boat and the motor. Please have a look and give me some feedback.

cheers

You will do better if you advertise the package here: RIBs for sale - RIBnet Forums

Be sure to post all your photos and the history as well. Leave an email address for contacts. Be aware that only the seller can post replies so no-one will add comments or questions on the For Sale thread. If you want to have a open discussion about the boat - post in this Inflatable forum and link over to the Sale ad.
