Very good videos. I would be interested what boats the 3 were and what Engines were on them.

Also (sorry to be a pain) how much fuel you carried

I hope you get some decent spells of weather too.

It was rough the further up the sound of Mull you went thatís why we changed our plans.

The boats were;

Honwave T40 Suzuki 20
Aerotec 380 Suzuki 20
Zodiac Futura 3.8 Mariner 25

All four stroke injection motors.

Carried 70l as the plan was 4 days but used about 30-35l on the Mariner. Not sure about the other guys fuel use.

Is there much real world difference between the 3 outfits when using them on that trip?

If so, what?

Not really much difference between them in so much as they all handled well.

They are all different though.

The T40 is like a barge. Plows through everything and sits stable.

The Aerotec is thin, light and nible but handles waves like a bigger boat.

The Zodiac seems to be between the two. Big but nible. Handles really well.

The other guys may have a different views but that was my impression.

My Zodiac seemed a little under propped with an 11 pitch. May try a 12/13 or even 14. Not sure yet.
