Hi Max,
The day went quite well, better than expected, Weather wise, it was cloudy most of the day with the rare slight breaks of sun, it was quite warm, at 09.00am the Sea was quite calm, so we just hit full throttle and went out approx 3 - 4 miles & just played around for an hour I would estimate, then we done a bit of relaxation & fishing and had a sandwich etc, Approx 13.00pm it started showing signs of heavy rain clouds coming and the sea having a slight wave, and I was thinking we are going to get drenched, but no, we managed to escape the downpour, the Sea calmed down again & we had a tiny spinkle of rain for a couple of minutes but nothing compared to what we thought was coming looking at the clouds, overall, weather was good and sea conditions were very good, already planning my next trip :-)

Sounds great. How was the launch and the slipway at Newhaven (and how much in the end)?

Couldn't ask for it to go more to plan than it did, we had a great day out.

As Max mentioned we all benefited from calm seas this weekend because of the north east winds along the SE coast, it makes such a difference. I Love them.

Just a shame the sun did not make more of an appearance, suppose we can't have everything we wish for
