What are inflatable canoes like?

I have wondered about that. Not as good at carrying any gear I suppose, but easier to paddle and would stow very neatly.

Hard to paddle ! I have 2 x 2 seaters for playing around on the river & down the beach. They can take a good load , but are surprisingly long & wide when inflated. Really just expensive playthings ( aren't all boats ? ) not very practicle as neither one thing or another.

I can never get enough pressure in them ( for my liking) as when they hit the water they go all soft no matter how hard you have tried to get them .
