Need a lift!

hi all had a bit of a nightmare today. something that has given me new respect for the sea we love to sail on,and an incredible organisation that i'll always be grateful to.

i took my inflatable over to my favourite spot for some fishing and made a realy bad error of judgement with respect to launching from the beach when i was done. the waves had picked up so much that every time i tried to get out from the beach the boat was swamped by waves and filled up within seconds. as this beach has no other access from the coastal path or any other way i had no choice but to call the lifeboat.
to cut a long and risky story short i had to leave the boat, outboard and all other bits on the beach above the high water mark.
would anyone in the st austell bay area be kind enough to give a very embarrassed me a lift out to said beach ?

Not so good for you ,hope it does all get sorted out and you find a safe place to launch,it can be a little daunting when the waves are breaking as you try to get out, have you tried at low water when the water is slacker? have you got transon wheels on your sib? to beable to pull your sib down to the water might make things a little easier.

Were you able to retrieve your boat before the bad weather hit?
