These past few days I've been doing some light repairs on my sib and I've noticed that the transom is starting to disconnect from the joint in the tube. This only happened in one of the tubes. The other one still seems solid.
What kind of glue should I use to solve this problem? I've tried contact glue but it didn't work. Hot glue did the trick but I'm not too sure it will hold with some abuse.

Took me some time but I finally got the boat 100% ready. Here's the list of things I did:

-Proper rub to remove all the paint and dirt stains
-Removed dolphins and old register tags
-Repainted the outboard mount
-Repaired some eroded and decayed parts on the wood floor
-Repainted and revarnished all the wood parts
-Replaced the old rope eyelets
-Replaced the old rope
-Glued the part of the transom that was coming apart
-Painted new register tags
-Got all the paperwork done

And I think that's about it.

I'm still considering painting the floor panels with a anti slip black spray that I got.

By the way, getting all the paperwork done was a nightmare. The bureaucracy in here is just unbelievable... The total cost of the paperwork was about 200.
Do you guys duel with this kind of horse crap in the UK?

Well done, it looks fantastic, but i'm missing the Dolphins already

We dont have any nation wide compulsory requirements or paperwork for boats under 24m.

Thanks mate.

Everything is just so damn complicated in here. That's partially why this country doesn't accomplish great things anymore. The government is always busy looking for new ways to get more money from the tax payers than to find real solutions for our economic problems.

Looks awesome.

Nope, in the UK any idiot can buy virtually any boat he likes and endanger himself and others immediately!

Today I sold the outboard (with a 10€ loss) and now it's ime for an upgrade!

I am looking at 10 to 15 hp 4 strokes but the 2 strokes haven't been discarded.

This is the one I'm more inclined to:
Motor Mercury 9.9hp - Motores para barcos no Porto

This 2 stroke is also interesting for half the price:
motor 9.9 yamaha - venda - Barcos, Aveiro - CustoJusto.pt

I am biased towards 2-strokes so I'd look at the Yamaha of those two... and it save a lot of money.

But remember that 9.9hp is the same weight as the 15hp in the range so I'd hold out for a 15hp.
